Never expected i would say this.. but man.. it was a hectic week for me last week.. the endless meetings and the report writing is killing me... travelled early in the morning to attend a 7 hour meeting is definitely not fun and a torture especially when u know ure staying in a nice resort with a nice beach and u have no time to enjoy it... Site visits are cruel and u will be under the super hot sun for such long hours.... lol... however, it did gave me a different type of exposure to the industry which i did not get in my previous companies... the technical knowledge and also the skills in handling different type of people....

Neways, after all these, went up for drinks in this place called the hill... quite a nice place to chill with a bunch of friends with nice cocktails to go with it... there's this watermelon slush which is quite unique... combining watermelon with vodka or something... not bad... will definitely be back there more often...

ahh... dunno wat else to say dy... just spending some time to jot down some of these nonsense during my free time in the office... alrite then back to my series... lol.. till then... ciaozz...

Another boring Monday at work, where i just sit there surf the net and do nothing... boring boring...
Had some jap dinner just now in Solaris Dutamas, Endo Ichi or soemthing... well, the food have got nothing much to shout about... it's kinda pricey as well considering the small portion that's served... too bad din take any pictures about the food since my bloody sony phone has been hospitalized... wonder how long it's gonna take to get that bloody phone fixed...i so wanted to get myself a blackberry but then aih... my account book beg to differ... not so supportive... lol... mondays, i dun really like mondays, cause it's the beginning of the same cycle for EVERYTHING... it's always like that... sigh... why can't it be different for a change??? why????
can't wait for the raya holidays to come by... where i just wanna chill out, watched some movie and let the day pass by... how relaxing... lol...it would be great if i have the money to spend the holidays in barcelona... drinking sangria and enjoy the tapas... *dreaming*... lol...

ahh.... what am i talking about here.... im just having some trouble sleeping and just wish to let it all out here in my forgotten blog.... and the irritation to my skin is just unbearable... why must this happen to me... i already had enough scars before this... why must this come out to me... been spending tonnes of money to try to find a cure.. nothing has worked,... it just keeps getting worse...is there any procedure where u cna just replace the entire skin on your body... pls let me know... this is a nuisance to me... the itch and the scars to my hands and legs.. the sight is unbearable... arghhh... been having some bad weeks lately..goodnight world...

Wow... How long has it been since i last blogged??? 2 years?? time really flies huh... with just a blink of an eye, I've already been working for almost 2 years since i graduated.... almost forgotten about this blog...
i need a place to vent out a lot of things that have been troubling me for quite some time...so i guess this is the only place where i can vent out everything and anything...
as the title shows, yah, i'm not having a good day today... found out certain things that I wish it was something else... been having a lot of ups and downs recently where I began to doubt my own capabilities as well as the person I've always been....
Should I change my outlook and perspective towards life or should I just remain the carefree person I've always been... this sucks... Y cant life just be that simple where you only need to worry about bringing food to the table and nothing else... why??? i've always maintained a positive outlook towards life where i always believe with an optimistic mind, life will be a lot more happier and simple... but then, time and time again i've been proven wrong... sigh... How i just wish i could let it out just like that without caring about the consequences of my actions.. how i wish everything was that simple... sigh...
Neways, will blog more often from now on... hopefully... lol... just wanted to drop by today to vent out some frustrations as well as to update the outlook of this blog... the old one was too dull... so till then... ciaoz...and good nite everyone...

I'm finally back... sorry for the lack of updates.. been going out almost everyday since i got back.. and have been sleeping in the early hours in the morning... sigh.. nothing much have changed since I left.... maybe coz i was in overseas for such a short period of time.. anyway, it's been nice meeting up with all my friends and did some catching up.. and have been attending interviews for jobs.. hopefully i get one soon enuf..

one thing though... i'm missing UK.. i just wish i could fly back there now...been having noseblocks everynite since i got back.. i never had that before in the UK.. sigh... dun really know what to write.. it's 330am here and i couldn;t sleep even though i'm freaking tired due to the extreme gym session... i got this free 1 hour trainer session when i joined true fitness.. he made me went through some tough exercises.. am having body ache all over right now.. lol..

and i have got this offer to attend an interview in Penang next week.. should i go?? it's so far away.. i dun mind working there though.. penang is a pretty awesome place... lol... i seriously cant think of anythign else to write now.. will update some other time.. gonna just waste my night in front of the tv.. till then........... cheerss...

Firstly, I would like to wish my brother who is currently studying in Aussie a very Happy 21st Birthday.. hope u had a blast... all the best with your studies and take care..

anyway, in less than 24 hours, I will be on the plane flyin back to malaysia... wanted to stayed longer here in the UK but then with the visa getting denied, i have to shorten my stay here... i just hope i get a job fast when im back... it's really hard to get a job here in the UK especially with the many rounds of interviews u need to attend before u are actually hired.. and the rejection letters i got over here, countless... but nonetheless, i am gonna miss this place so much... I have had some of the best moments of my life here in the UK.. the study life, the drinking sessions, euro trips and knowing a whole bunch of wonderful people..

none of this are possible without the support of my parents.. i would really like to thank them for giving me the opportunity to study abroad and all these wonderful experiences... they have given me all the support i need, financially and also mentally... thank you so much...

went down to York last sunday with Ming Jun and Peggie Chang... went to the designer outlet to do some shopping.. it's not as bi as the one in cheshire oaks though.. but it's not too bad there... they have loads of branded stuff like ralph lauren, burberry, fossil and etc.. managed to get a pair of pants from Ralph Lauren for 20 pounds.. what a bargain.. lol.. then we walked around the town, went to the famous York cathedral and clifford tower... passed by the York Dungeon and ming jun started scaring peggie by telling us that normally after 7pm there will be someone bringing tourists around telling ghost stories.. lol..

The cathedral was nice although i'm not really into all these... took some photos around.. but then it started to rain.. wat a spoiler.. anyway, it was a good and memorable one although it was really tiring after that.. lol... here are some of the photos that we took the other day... most of it are already in my facebook profile.. just gonna upload a few here...

National Graduate Fair, London

and this fair is pure rubbish.. ok la it did help me out a bit by providing me with the new 2009 graduate employment and training book to help me sort out the companies that I can apply to.. other than that it was a complete waste of my time.. found out about this grad fair last week and registered for it.. then i followed some of the guidelines provided in the site... I was so hardworking in correcting the mistakes in my CV and spent a bomb photostating few sets of it coz apparently they do have immediate vacancies and they accept CVs on the spot.. so i did it nicely....and i even wore my suit to the fair coz they said that its good to give a good first impression..

heck, when i reached there, there was a long queue at the entrance which i thought was fine.. so we happily waited and laurent and his friend starting making fun of this indian guy in front of us coz by his looks he is definitely not a fresh grad.... we were wondering wat the hell is he doing here... is it because of the bad economy crisis.. lol... then once i got in, i saw some wearing casual wear and some in suits.. so i approached this company and started asking some questions.. and then i proceed to ask if they need my CV and all they did was gave me a brochure and asked me to log on to this website and apply for there.. wth... and the same goes to the rest of the companies.. sigh.. and the immediate vacancies i was looking for was hidden at one corner of the fair, printed on a normal A4 size paper like the classified section on the Star newspaper.. stupid..

then i saw this booth where they offer to check your CV... so i went to have a look and i got the shock of my life when i saw the small fee they need for one on one consultation for your CV was 80 pounds... crazy fellas...

then we head down to Leicester Square for food.. my first meal of the day at 1pm.. lol... went to this restaurant called Wong Kei.. price was alright but then the food doesn't taste good.. the vegetables are so soggy... another total waste of money..

as for today, after browsing through the mag, i happily started applying for jobs online but i never submitted a single application due to the tough questions they asked... omg.. it's worse than the exams i had in leeds... end up watching dramas again..such unproductive lifestyle... sigh.. neway, it's late now... got to hit the bed... nitezz ppl...

Sleeping Disorder???

I've been wondering for days if I'm having sleeping disorder.... been sleeping very late at night and waking up earlier than usual in the morning... i slept for like 5hours everyday?... sigh... been constantly worrying bout my VISA.... the first thing I would do every morning is to wait at the door at 10am sharp for the postman to arrive with hopes of receiving my visa...all important documents there ok.. but everyday, all I got was disappointment...sad..

those bloody home office.. when they wanna take money from you, they do it so fast... today u send in your application, the next day they deduct the money from your account dy... wtf... but then they process your visa slower than a tortoise... not having my visa makes my life so unproductive and lifeless... i just wished the visa would arrive anytime within this week... it's been more than 4 weeks dy..

anyway, going to have a hair cut tomorrow.. couldn't stand it any longer, it's too bloody long... and i need to start working out.. been piling on the fats recently due to excessive junk food eating sessions... sigh.. anyway guys...dun really know wat else to write, nothing much going in my life right now.. till then.. cheers...

Hmm... dun really know what to update about in my blog actually.. my life here is so lifeless... no job, no gym for me to go work out and nothing to do other than going out for a walk inhaling all the debris in the underground tube which is fucking bad for your health.. sigh.. I need a job... DESPERATELY need a job.. i dun care if it's not field related.. i just need a fucking job to pass my time and earn some cash.. it's impossible to stay in LONDON without a fucking job...

anyway, i shall just put a little update about my life here.. well, after staying here for almost 3 weeks, I've managed to explore most of London even though I've already explored it before.. and also I managed to get myself a new toy.. woo hoo.. some car model where u need to assemble it yourself with glue and then paint it with all the colors.. i bought a shelby GT 500 which is an awesome car... it took me 2 nights to finish up all the gluing of the car.. all the details have to be done perfectly.. lol...but i din paint it though.. it's too expensive to buy all the colors needed for such a small thing..

and oh, i went back to leeds the other to settle some deposit with the previous house agent and also to meet up with my DEAR friend, MISS CHANG... waited for her for more than half an hour in Lupton, halls of residence and helped her out with her luggage.. u should thank me for that weh.. a meal in GORDON RAMSAY'S restaurant would be perfect way to repay me ok.. i shall wait for u to come down to LONDON to repay me.. lol...

and while i was putting her bags into her room, i noticed one of the locks she had to secure her bag... it was really huge man.. it's like one of those u use to lock ur gate or something.. i guess there must be something really valuable inside.. hahaha.... here's a picture of it...

anyway, i have to say, it was really nice meeting with u again after so long... u looked better than before.. and i really wanna thank u for the toothpaste.. can't stand COLGATE man.. DARLIE's the best.. lol...i also get to know some new people like ur fren and i also met up with my brother's friend, joe who so happen to be in the same class as peggie... what a small world.. lol... hope u have fun in ur uni life here coz i definitely missed mine.. seeing all the new faces in leeds and after going back to those halls of residence, i really missed my days in st marks.. where i do not need to worry about anything other than my exams... lol...

New Life in Southgate, London

As you all know, I have just moved down to london recently... I'm currently living in southgate which is about 30 mins away from central london by tube.. it's a lovely place, small town where everyone knows everyone.. sorry la that's how i describe a small town.. lol.. now im just gonna talk a little bit about my life here....

when i first arrived to my new house, the room was a total mess.. dunno if it was once there was an animal living in here.. it was filthy and disgusting... anyway, thanks to the powerful vacuum machine and the my cleaning skills, it is now looking really good and i manage to get rid of the disgusting smell with some of the incense i bought from bodyshop.. tat thing is really a life saver.. lol...

but the bad thing about moving is that, i have to buy new furnitures and also i need to look for a new part time which is incredibly hard since im living in a fucking small town.. sigh.. and the towns nearby are so fucking dodgy.. it doesn't look safe especially in Edmonton where there were few cases of knife stabbing reported.. rules here are slightly different compared to leeds as the minimum age to buy knife and alcohol in supermarket is 25... wtf..

central london is awesome.. i freaking love that place... u can get watever u want over there but there is one turn off which is the PRICE TAG.. it's really omg.. how to afford to buy anything there... and i've been to the IKEA here.. the interior is exactly the same as the one back home in the curve and there's also a huge tesco opposite it.. made me felt so at home when i went there... and i bought a table for only a pound at the bargain section which was really good as i needed a big table desperately due to the amount of stuff i have which is obviously a lot.. to those who stayed with me in leeds before, they know the amount of stuff i have.. lol...

since i havent got a part time and a permanent work, i've been on a tv series marathon.. lol.. first i've finished 3 seasons of BONES and now i'm watching HELL'S Kitchen.. that show is fucking awesome which is hosted by the world renowned chef Gordon Ramsay.. to those who doesnt know how to swear properly, watch that series and after one or 2 episodes, u can swear like a pro.. lol...

anyway, i gtg sleep now.. just a couple of beers with my friends and feeling a lil tipsy now... till then.. cheers ppl..

in exactly 7 hours, i will be on the bus (hopefully the bus driver will be kind enuf to allow me to enter due my massive luggage and all the bags of stuff) down to london to my new home.... cant wait to enter london... hoping that i would have better luck in securing myself a job there since that's the capital, there should be more job opportunities than here in leeds....

anyway, i will be back in leeds in another 2 weeks maybe cause i need to settle the deposits, the council tax form, show them the gas and electric bills... there's so many procedures just to get my deposit back.. stupid agency.. to those of u coming over to study, dun ever register with PRIME properties when u are going for a rent contract.. that dude is so unorganized and useless.... and also my dear friend, Miss Peggie is coming over for her final year.. haha... cant wait for my gifts from malaysia, rite miss chang... lol...

I've finally let go some of the burden before i leave this house in leeds before i leave to london such as sending out all my parcels to my new house as well as all the bloody gas and electric bills and the most important thing the visa application.. hopefully i will get an answer soon from the home office... AS for the packing part, that's wat i bloody hate the most.. i've placed most of my stuff in 3 boxes and when i tot it was enuf.. no.. i still have whole loads of stuff in my room rite now with me.. i wonder how the hell did all those stuff comes from.. lol..

Yesterday was my last day in Sentinel Car Park, after having worked there for 2 and a half months.. it was really a pleasure working with those guys.. they were really funny fellas with all these jokes and mocking each other even though most of them are pensioners.. lol..

It's gonna be a new life for me in london after staying so long in leeds where I had the most fun in life.. I'm gonna have to look for a new part time work to support my livinig here while I look for a permanent one.. to be honest, I fucking hate to look for a job here... all i ever get are rejection letters saying that they need someone with experience.. how the hell am i gonna get my experience if I'm not given a chance to gain experience.. fucking nutcase...

Life was so much easier as a student.. cant believe im saying this but i think i had more fun as a student than as a grad except maybe during the exams part.. lol.. now, i have to worry if i could land myself a good job, will i be able to support myself, how's my future gonna be like and etc.. it's just so depressing.. sigh.. guess that's part of life...

sigh.. i know it's all pointless here.. im just simply rambling about my life here.. dun get me wrong.. i love my life here, it's just that after getting so many rejection letters for my job application it tends to get on my nerves at times..

i think that's enuf rubbish for one post.. i shall get back to my packing now.. till then.. cheers...

Trip to Camden Town

I have finally got all the documents and payments settled for a new place to stay.. will be moving down to London next month... lol.. anyway, went there last friday to settle all the stuff and managed to stop by Camden Town where it is famous for all the goth and punk styles...

That place was amazing... u get loads of cheap t shirts and gothic clothings.. there is also a famous lock known as the camden lock.. These locks is also known as water elevator to help boats move to a higher level of an uneven river... not gonna explain how it works coz it might end up being too educational... lol..

and oh before i finish.. i went and work for this catering last week as a waiter for a football match between hull city and fulham.. and god... i dun think i ever wanna work as a waiter anymore.. it's so freaking tiring and you have to carry like few dishes on a tray and balanced it on your hand.. but the cool thing is that i get to watch the premier league match in the VIP lounge and the girls are hot.. lol...

It's been more than a week now since my parents and my bro came over to UK for my graduation ceremony... It was really good getting to see them again after so long.. lol.. well, they are all in good health and stuff and one thing i noticed.. my youngest bro.. he's getting bigger(fatter..hahah) and taller.. omg.. i look so small standing next to him...lol..

anyway, besides attending my graduation ceremony, we went for some trips around UK and to Barcelona.. we went down to liverpool to visit my aunt and for my dad to reminisce about the times he studied there.. lol.. went down to london before they fly back to malaysia.. did some massive shopping here... lol..

and that place is really a food heaven with their delicious paellas, sangria and tapas.. yum yum.. too bad we spent only a day and half there.. din really get to explore some other places.. we did managed to cover a portion of it though.. my parents was really tired after walking around barcelona the whole day.. lol.. there were so many attractions especially the buildings designed by Gaudi.. and the pedestrian street was good.. we also went at the right time when it was having sales.. lol..

I know, ba zhang festival is way over but then i din know it was ba zhang festival here till Laurent came and asked me if i wanted to make ba zhang.. y not rite since he got the recipe from his gf.. such a talented gf he has.. lol..

it was all eperimental as it was the first time i have ever done such things.. lol... luckily there was Lin Nyok to help us out.. she was kinda pro in it since she did it before back in her hometown.. i couldnt wrap the thing properly.. it always ended being flat and square instead of the usual shape which is like a pyramid(is it??)... lol.. i gave up after a wraping a couple of it... all i did was just put in the filling and pass it to the pro to wrap it up for me... lol..it turned out to be quite a success..especially the ones with the spicy dried shrimps (the ones that i cooked..bangganya)... lol..

I'm finally a GRADUATE Engineer... but sadly, the results i obtained is not what i expect it to be.. wonder with that kind of results i could get any job offers especially in the UK since i will be staying here for some time.. well, just hope for the best...

on the happier side.. yea, i've graduated and i can start looking for a job and earn my own money... get a decent job to support my expenses, send some money home as well as my travelling expenses... i'm not done with europe yet.. havent been to most of the countries in europe...

and also, i will finally be able to see my parents in july.. woo hoo.. cant wait.. miss them so much... and for my little bro.. it will be his first time on a plane.. lol...
cant wait.. for now i shall work my ass off for my part time.. earn some money to pay off the house rent, ever increasing phone bills and hopefully some for my euro trip.. lol...

it's been weeks now since my exams was over and I'm still jobless and lifeless... sigh.. been doing nothing other than sleep, eat, shit, walk around aimlessly and filling up pages long of job application forms and also waiting anxiously for my results which will be out this THURSDAY... omg.. worried like fuck only... this sucks to the max...

Anyway, i've found myself a new home in BURLEY which is about half an hour away from the place i'm living currently.. paid up my deposit last week and there goes another hole in wallet... sigh...

this is a meaningless post... im just too fucking bored and i just feel like scribbling something.. lol...and oh.. i know this is old news but the petrol prices in malaysia has increased to RM2.70/ltr... wtf.. y la so much... how to drive car back home.. have to walk meh.. the freaking weather will kill me in no time if i were to start walking adn the public transport is totally hopeless... no system at all one... aih.. mana boleh..

dunno wat to write dy la.. till the next time.. i shall just go rot under my duvet till my results are out.. cheerss guys... wish me luck..

SUMMERBALL 2008

Leeds Uni organized a summerball last Friday.. It was held in Lotherthon Hall which is about 20 mins drive from Leeds City Centre... This summerball was a 12 hour event which starts from 6pm and ends at 6am in the morning... Was an outdoor event with 7 arenas for u to choose from depending on the choice of music one prefer... It was more like a huge clubbing area instead of a Ball... Liquors and cigarettes are sold everywhere... A bottle of wine cost 11 pounds... a little overpriced for it and it sucked... damn i hate wines...The ball was quite huge with the attendance of more than 9000 people since it's a combination of Leeds Uni and Leeds Metropolitan...I reached there around 7pm and left around 1am....

It was supposed to be a black tie event but since none of us have got black tie and couldn't be bothered about it... we just wore any available tie that we could find in our cupboard.. lol.. It was pretty cool since it was the first time, the whole gang wore suit for an event.. Girls looking pretty in their dresses and guys are looking smart in their suit...

There was also performance by this former SUGABABES member, Mutya Buena, unfortunately I did not get to watch her performance cause some of my friends wanted to go back already.. well, the performance wasn't suppose to start till 2am...There were also some DJ's and some bands performing in different arena.. Theere was also a free fun-fair where u get to ride all the rides for free.. But the queue was super long..

There was also an air brush tattoo shop, where all of us got ourselves a tattoo each.. lol.. just for the fun of it... most of us got it at the back of our neck while some of them got it in front at the sides... Basically, there wasn't much for us to do there.. so we head into oen of the arenas where some of them started dancing... and some of us just explored into the different arenas available.. There was this arena that plays country music.. lol...

Before the clock strikes 12, there were already a lot of drunkards walking around.. And the toilet was outdoor, u can see ppl peeing everywhere.. the allocated space for toilet are rather disgusting... i do not wish to continue about tat place... loll...
Overall, it was quite a nice experience since it was my first time attending a ball in the UK...

Hungary trip...

Since I'm pretty jobless now and I'm bored to death, I shall continue with my euro trip post... This time it's gonna be an update of the Hungary trip...

Hungary

From Vienna, we took a train to Budapest, Hungary... SI have to say, I have the best time in HUngary among the places i went to coz the place is nice and stuff there are really cheap, we had to visit the money changer liek few times a day coz we always used up the money we had in our wallets... lol.ince Budapest is divided by a river, one side is called Buda and the other is called Pest, I stayed in Pest where the apartment we rented is located.... It was a nice and cozy apartment where they have 2 double beds, sofas, tv and all the other necessary stuff... It has to be best accommodation among these 3 countries that I went to... The girls rented 3 apartments and we were divided into 3 groups, 4 person each apartment.. The apartment is quite big , it could fit more than 6 persons... lol.. My housemates in Hungary is Yi Yun, Yee Xian and Xiang Ying... 2 med students and one pharmacy student.. and they are all JPA scholars... feel so intimidated staying with such smart people.. lol... but anyway they are nice people and yi yun likes to perform card tricks where it only jadi on the 3rd attempt.. haha...

Anyway, HUngary is not a bad place, the sceneries are quite nice and the food there are excellent...If any of you plan to go Hungary, I have to recommend this restaurant called FATAL.. the food is awesome and the portion is quite big where u can share with ur friends.. lol.. other than the food, the thermal bath is awesome.. u get to chill and relax in the heated pool.. It;s one of the attractions in Hungary... There are so many places with this thermal bath.... The one i went has got a swimming pool and 2 heated pool with different temperatures and als the sauna and steam room.. It was very relaxing.. just that there wasn't much leng luis for me to look at.. got quite a number of guys there though as the girls was drooling over them... hahaha...

There was also this cave church and some monument on top of the hill which was quite nice as u get to see the bridges connecting buda and pest and also other parts of the place... THere's also this market which is 5 mins walk from the apartment i stayed in.. They have a food stall which have different types of dishes to choose from... its like the nasi campur back home just tat here they sell pasta as well instead of only rice.. lol...and also a lot of cheap fruits there...

We also went to this island in betweeen BUda and Pest, which is called the Margaret Island if im not wrong.. anyway, tat place is like a huge garden with sceneries and stuff, and since we are too lazy to walk we rented bicycles which can fit 6 persons.. quite cool, it's like a car.. haha...

There's also another attraction which is the Parliament building.. Nothing much there just a nice building.. lol.. went there on the last day...

i think tats all i can say, couldnt think of anything else.. cant recall any rite now.. lol.. just gonna upload some pictures..

Easter Euro Trip

This is a very late post for the trip I went during the Easter Break... Sorry for the late update...

Neway, for this trip I went to 3 countries which is Austria, Slovakia and Hungary for 8 days.... Get to visit the main city in these countries.. It had been a wonderful experience... And the best thing is that I travelled with 11 girls with me being the only guy... lol...among the 11 girls, I only knew one of them.... lol... It was nice knowing these girls.. really funny and nice to hang out with.. Especially the Thai girl who never failed to make ppl laugh... real joker...anyway, here's a little update regarding the trip... First stop,

Slovakia...

I left Leeds early in the morning to meet up with Ying Yi in Notts around 10am before we left for the airport at 1pm to catch our flight in Notts airport.. Bought some sandwich as the low budget airline doesnt provide food.... It took around 2 hours to reach Slovakia from Notts... Since we took an evening flight, we only reached Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia at night... Once we reached there, we hop on a bus and head straight to our hostel... The hostel was a real nice place... Forgotten the name of the hostel though... lol...Since there was 12 of us, we had to split into 2 groups for the rooms... I stayed in the same room with Fiqa, Irene and Su Ying (3 Brunei-ans) and Metika (Miki) and Orn (Minnie) the 2 Thai girls... The first thing we did after we placed our luggage in the room was to hit the streets to look for some food... The only stall which was still opened was a kebab store...

Then the next day, we had McD for breakfast and their Ms Muffins are damn nice coz they have 2 slices of crispy bacon... yummy... how i wished Malaysia could cook it with some bacon.. hahaha.. anyway, we visited an old castle or fort, forgotten the name as well.. lol.. sorry la, i have bad memory about the name of places... lol... There we met up with Kok Hong's couzin and her gang from NOtts.. they travelled to the same places as us but then they stayed in a different place.. dunno any of them... lol... Bratislava is quite a nice place and the stuff there was not too bad... the currency there is quite small...Din get to do much there as we only spent a day there when we left around evening by train to Vienna, the capital of Austria and the place famous for its music... lol..

Well, that's it for the Bratislava, from there we took a train to Vienna where we spent 3 days there... This is a much nicer city compared to Brastislava.. I managed to visit Mozart's apartment, some cathedrals/churches, the opera house where we watched opera show, a big garden, a funny looking block of apartment and had some good food.... and also an amusement park... We stayed in this youth hostel called Wombat, The Lounge.. This hostel was quite nice with wireless internet connection, a common kitchen with tv and the best thing about this hostel is that it is very convenient to travel around the city as the tram and the train station is just few minutes walk... However, when we first reached Vienna's train station, there's a very strong smell which was quite smelly... We tot one of us stepped on shit but then after walking around, we found that it was the horse's shit as there were plenty of carriage using horse to bring tourists travel around the place... This time we split into 2 groups again in the hostel where there would 8 in one room and 4 in one room.. However, the 4 girls who stayed in one room had an outsider staying in the same room and according to them, this dude managed to did some exercise at nite with some girl.. lol... wonder how the hell did he do it with 4 other strangers in the room..
We visited a big castle with hell lots of compartments where one of the king lived... It's almost the same as the one I visited in Germany... I guess Europe is all about cathedrals and castles... lol... Bought some souvenirs there.. Din want to continue to the art museum section coz I know it will bore the hell out of me.. But then since the rest also din want to enter as none of us knows anything bout all those we went somewhere to grab some food as I was too hungry...

The best part of this trip was the visit to the music museum, Mozart's apartment and the opera... Learnt some history about Mozart, how he became famous and everything.. The opera was not too bad..THe title of the show was La Sonnumbula(if I'm not wrong).. It's a love story about this girl who sleepwalks and got misunderstood for having an affair with an old man.. Everyone has to dress up in formal wear and becoz of this my luggage was so full as I have to include my coat and my leather shoes.. lol.. Since the girls all dressed up in nice dresses and all, while we were waiting for the train, those local people just kept staring at us for no reason... how rude of them..

I've finally gotten a new hair cut after having the LONG LONG hair for more than 6 months.. luckily the weather is cold here i dun feel that hot with that long hair...

It's feeling so comfortable after having the super short hair cut... Went to HANNALEE, this korean saloon with LAUREN for hair cut... tat guy also cut off his pony tail and i guess taking off his pony tail makes wonders.. he looks a few years younger...

Sorry for the lack of updates.. Been busy with exams lately.. and also I was too lazy to blog... lol.. anyway, i've finished 2 papers so far and there's 2 more left.. had my viva the other day (project presentation).. have to admit, i was fucking nervous during the viva and when i think back on one of the questions he asked, i felt so stupid.. instead of saying density affects the mixing of oil and water.. i told him it was because of its viscosity...omg, wat the hell was i thinking... shit... such an easy question and yet i managed to get it all wrong...sigh... hope i wont get marks deducted for that stupid stupid mistake...

Anyway, there's still 2 more papers to go and will update after my exams... cant wait for 22nd to arrive... final day of exams... that's when all the fun begins... lol...

It's been 3 days since I got back from my Euro trip and I've practically wasted all my time on sleeping and facebook.. sigh... supposed to be starting on my revision and writing all my reports.. just couldnt get my head into doing it.. lol... will hopefully be able to start on where I left on by tomoro since my team mate wants to finish up the assignment...

Finally I'm done packing for my trip tomoro... it's hard to pack so many things into one small bag and have to be less than 10kg.. sigh... i'm definitely not a light traveller... and all the last minute items my frens asked me to bring along such as my formal wear.. wanted to watch a concert it seems... sigh... liquids itself has already exceeded the 1000l limit.. thank god that the organizer have one luggage to be checked in.. lol..

will be off to nottingham in another 4 hours time for my flight to Slovakia.. so excited.. cant even sleep properly now.. so i resorted to writing something on my blog.. will be away for 9 days to Austria,Slovakia and Hungary.. heard that Budapest, the main city in Hungary is quite nice..

anyway, dont think i will be sleeping much now.. gonna go watch a movie to kill the remanining time...see u guys in 9 days time.. ciaozzz...

Easter Trips!!

It's holiday season again... another month of it.. lol.. dont really know why there's so many holidays over here in the UK... but it's all good for me as I get to travel again... lol...

BLACKPOOL
Anyway, on the first day of hols, went to Blackpool for its theme park... its called Pleasure Beach Theme Park and it's next to the sea... heard it was good and since they are having promotions we decided to go... it's been a while since i last went to a theme park with roller coasters and all.. the rides there are awesome.. really exciting... compared to those boring rides in Genting Highlands.. we rented 6 cars as there were almost 30 of us....I got a Vauxhall Astra 1.8cc... quite a nice car to drive... it took us almost 2 hours to reach Blackpool from Leeds.. ONce we were there, met up with Kok Hong to collect our tics and there we go... there's this ride called 'The Big One', it was a really scary one... u go up above 200 feet and u drop at an angle of almost 80 degrees.. that was really awesome...cant really tell much through words.. i will just let the pictures do the talking.. not much though.. too lazy to upload all of it.. can check it out in facebook...

We then head off to Lake District to stay there for the night...

It was suppose to take us 2 hours to reach the hostel in Lake District but while we were leaving Blackpool one of the drivers managed to follow the wrong car and he lost the way which wasted half an hour of our time... sigh.. we never rented any red car but somehow he followed that car thinking that it was us.. god..

Then there's another incident which delayed us to the hostel.. while going up a steep slope in Lake District.. one of the cars we rented couldn't go up the hill so we have to leave the car there and drive them up to the hostel.. according to the hostel owner, the slope that we went is one of the steepest slope in UK.. god.. all of us don't know y that particular car couldn't go up as all the other 5 cars managed to reach the top.. sigh.. anyway, the hostel was very nice and clean and the sceneries in the morning is just beautiful..

Since Lake District is famous for the lakes, we went to 2 lakes on Sunday, Coniston and one of the lake in Fell Foot Park.. The sceneries in Lake District is very nice and u get to see a lot of sheeps running around and from the slopes u can actually take tonnes of good pictures... wonderful scenes... it's a good place to chill and relax... Din manage to take much picture as I was driving most of the time..

Finally, after weeks of spending my time in classes and labs, it's time for me to have a good rest again... 1 whole month.. muahahhaa... well, this break is supposed to be for me to be studying since my finals is just around the corner.. But then, the temptations of EUROPE is just too hard to resist... Hungary, SLovakia and Austria... here I COME!!!!! muhahaha... gonna be there for a week during the first week of April with Ying Yi and her friends from Nottingham...

will be going to Blackpool tomoro for the theme park and the beach.. the rides in the theme park looks pretty cool and exciting.. gonna be driving there.. it's like a class trip as there are more than 30 person who will be going.. will be going in 6 cars.. convoy.. hahha...

anyway, got to go now.. just feel like writing something in my blog.. ciaoz..

Sigh.. internet here is just hopeless... can't even send an email to my project supervisor coz it takes ages to upload the datas.. sigh....
anyway, have a look at my work station where I've been spending hours there to complete experiments for my final year project... one experiment takes 4 hours... 4 HOURS!!! but luckily i can access youtube and crunchyroll in the lab to cure me of my boredom and the best thing is that they even provide the speakers.. lol...
due to the lousy internet connection.. i shall upload the pictures at my next update..

I feel like getting tattoo... should i??? the tattoos look so good.. but then its too exp to get it in UK... i asked some brits here and they told me, they charge like 60 pounds an hour over here just for a tattoo... sigh.. way out of my budget man...

As the title shows, it was snowing here last week for one full day... rarely get that here.. so me and my friends sneaked out of class for 15 mins just to take some pictures in Hyde Park... Hyde park was so nice with all the snow covering it..it was white all over and there is a lady who brought out her wine and just sat there enjoying the scenery even though it's freezing out there... lol... the snow was quite thick but unfortunately we din manage to build a snow man due to the time and also we did not wear any gloves... It was very painful to just hold the snow for that long coz its too freaking cold... lol... Anyway, managed to take some pics on my cam and the rest are still in my friend's camera..

Alrite... since I've got nothing else better to do... I just wanna post some pictures I took during my London trip last December.

LONDON

First day

London Eye.. din went for the ride though.. just took it from a bridge which I forgotten the name of it... lol... It was so nice of Yan Yan's uncle to bring us around London on the first day I arrived.. he even let us have the whole house and also bought us dinner in WAGAMAMA which I heard was quite famous in UK.. have got a few branches around... However, the food was just so so... Yea... tat nite we just walked around the city... Trafalgar Square, Oxford road, China town and some other places...

Second day
anyway, the next day we went to Madam Tussaud's... It changed so much since the last time I went there when I was a little kid.. lol... After that, I met up with Choong Lee and his brother at Hyde Park.. From there we just walked all the way down the street till we reach Harrods... went into Harrods... man, that place is awesome... It would be better if I had few hundred thousands in my bank account.. hahaha... he told me about krispy kremes, so I just bought some to try.. not bad but I prefer Dunkin Donuts... hahah... while on the way out, I saw a Rolls Royce and there were a crowd of people surrounding it... I heard someone said that Victoria Beckham a.k.a Posh Spice was inside... wanted to join the crowd that was waiting for Posh to come out but then I got bored so I just walked off... not really interested in her anyway... lol....

THen Choong Lee brought me to CHinatown for dinner... He said that there's this famous restaurant that sells duck rice.. So we went there... Once we reached, I was told that we have to queue up for 30 mins before we can get our table... Since it's that famous, I said its fine...so we waited... well, it was not bad and not too pricey... tats all I can say about it.. if u compare to Malaysia, well, obviously u cant... hahah... After that, went to Majestic Theatre to buy ticket to watch Phantom of the Opera for the next day...

Third Day

Met up with Choong Lee again and this time we headed to London Bridge and Tower of London... DIn manage to go into the tower of london... Just walked around, take some pictures then we left to Trafalgar Square... Dinner in Chinatown again... this time we ate earlier coz we got to go for a play at 730pm..
Went to Majestic Theatre for Phantom of the Opera... It cost me 35 pounds for that show but I have to tell you guys, it was all worth it... The show was awesome...There was the moving stage effects and all.. the story itself was a good one.. Phantom of the Opera wat... lol...

Fourth day

Lauren and Hwei Chuin joined us on the 4th day before we leave for Germany... Since I was in London 3 days earlier, I took them around... hahaha... We went to St. Paul's Cathedral.. Went up to the tower where I had to climb more than 400++ steps to reach the top... It was exhausting... din really get to travel much that day coz had to leave to Lauren's Fren's place earlier where we took a cab to the airport together... his place was somewhere up north of london in zone 5(forgotten the name dy)...
However, we managed to meet up with Kok Hong and gang for dinner before we left... had buffet dinner in one of the restaurant's in Chinatown.. yes, Chinatown again.. lol....

First of all, I would like to wish all the couples out there a very HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY... hope you all have a great V-day...
As for myself, I will not be having any V-day celebration or watever...sigh...

Anyway, the main purpose for this post is a little update on how I celebrated CHINESE NEW YEAR over here in the UK... lol... alrite, here goes...

CNY EVE

After class went straight down to Bradford where Vincent held a party for the CNY...Everyone who went were from Inti... They even played CNY songs just to suit the mood.. lo.. well, tat's the least you can get over here unlike back home.. lol..

As usual, it was a pot luck party where everyone cooked something and brought it over.. there's curry, stew, vegetables, etc... Food was good.. and also there's lots of alcohol around which was placed nicely on the floor in the living room just waiting for everyone to have their dinner and start on the booze... lol...

After dinner, everyone gathered in the living room and there we played a game where the loser have to drink shots.. Well, I din lose much, so I din get to drink much as well... luckily.. lol... There were a few who got drunk as well even before the clock strikes 12am.. lol..

I stayed over for the nite and miraculously, I managed to reach back to Leeds just in time for 9 am classs... hahaa...

1st Day of CNY..

It was a very depressing first day for me as I had to spend almost the entire day in the LAB doing tests for my final project... sigh.. However, once I reached home, it was all good coz my flatmates and I organized a steamboat sesssion..wat would CNY be without a good steamboat... lol...we bought fish, pork, chicken, meat balls etc.. since we do not own any steamboat equipment, we have to settle using our rice cookerS.. lol.. we invited about 12-13 person, therefore we had to use 2 rice cookerS .. lol... Kok Hong, Kumar, Kenneth and Nizam came all the way from Bradford to join us for steamboat.. Well, we ate almost the whole night and felt so full after that..

After dinner, some other guys came over and started a mini casino in Wilson's room.. well, tat's typical CNY.. lol... they played blackjack and after an hour or 2 they headed down to the casino.. lol.. big time gamblers... I din follow them coz I was so tired due to lack of sleep from the nite before and the 4 hours tests...

2nd Day of CNY

Din do much basically, just spent the entire day in the lab again and went clubbing at nite with Kok Hong and gang...

3rd and 4th Day of CNY

Went down to Liverpool to look for my aunt.... Had a nice dinner and get to play with my nephew, Cameron... yes, I'm an uncle now... lol... my cousin cooked a goose for dinner.. my aunt made abalone and some other dishes... abalone was good... it has been a while since i last ate abalone... lol....

Once, i reached there we went around shopping, went to the dock, grab some ice-cream and had a little race with Cameron...

On Sunday, followed my aunt to Chinatown... they were having some celebrations over there... they had lion dance, and also dragon dance along with some fireworks... quite nice...anyway, here's some pics for the trip..

Paintball in Darlington..

Went for a game of paintball today in Darlington which was organised by Leeds Paintball Society.. Signed up last week during the healthy week... It was very very tiring and fun at the same time.. lol...

Anyway, woke up damn freaking early this morning at 630am, had a cup of water and walked straight to Parkinson Building where the bus will be waiting to bring us to Darlington.. Darlington is somewhere up north.. While walking out from the flat, it started snowing.. I was like, 'Shit, am i gonna play paintball with all the high speed wind and snow all'.. and it was freezing ok.. the temp was about -2 to 2 degrees.. Since Darlington is up north, that place was even colder... the whole time i was playing paintball with gloves on..

We reached there around 8am, and we were given a pair of suit, masks and also a hopper where u keep the bullets.. then we were told to buy our own bullets... i was like wtf... i tot the 10 pounds i paid included everything.. well, i guess there's always a catch to all the cheap stuff.. and the freaking bullets were so exp.. 100 pounds for 2000 bullets.. god.. since it was shared by the 5 of us, each have to pay 20 pounds... sigh.. We were given a belt and a tube to keep our spare bullets so that we can refill when we ran out of bullets during a game... we were given free burgers and hot drinks for breakfast... after eating, we went into the game site...

We played about 8 games in 4 different sites... First one was the normal paintball site like the one i played back in malaysia where the first team to bring the flag back to the camp wins.. Wasnt a good one, got shot on my thumb and have to walk to the side... sigh.. and once i reached the side to check on my thumb it was already swollen... damn painful man..

Then the second site was quite even better... they call it the VC site where there are jeeps around and we were split into 2 teams, vietnam and americans.. the attacking ones would be americans and the defending ones would be vietnamese... the defending ones were suppose to defend the so called chapel so that no americans can enter and if any americans enter, the team lose... well, i was in the defending team, so i picked my spot and just defend from there with some other brits.. they were making jokes during the whole game and one of them even asked me, what do your family think when u told them u're goin for war with the vietnamese.. i was just smiling all and the other brit answered, i dun care what they think, jsut get this damn thing over with,i'm fucking hungry.. lol... jokers la they all.. lol.. in the end someone shot us from the back without any of us realising it.. lol...

We went out for a break, i din know they provide free lunch as well but i had to wait like another hour.. so i went and bought myself a burger that cost 1.50... i paif that fella 2 and guess wat.. he returned 3.50 to me.. i just walked away quietly and pass the 1.50 to lauren who was hungry as well... lol...

Then came the dirtiest site of them all.. the trenchers.. we have to crawl through muddy grounds to get to the opponent's side to win the game.. and there were thorns everywhere...thank god my cousin bro bought me a pair of gym gloves.. it proved to be a life saver since my other gloves was quite bulky which make it hard to shoot and i din want to dirty it, i used my gym gloves where the fingers are exposed... and my shoes were soaked in the muddy waters.. damn sakit hati...lol..

The last game was not a fun one if u're defending... the defending team will be placed in a fort and no one can come out from it as we were suppose to defend inside.. the opponent wins if all the team members in the fort are shot and walked out... i walked out once i saw most of my team members were shot as i din want to be shot by more than 10 fellas at one go.. lol...

Since lauren and i already ran out of bullets we decided to walk to the waiting zone and take some pictures while the others will play one last game just to finish off the bullets.. lol.. However, we only managed to take a few...

Street Dance

Since Leeds is organizing a Healthy Week campaign this week, I decided to take part in some of the course available. One of it was street dance... So Ken Wayne and I decided to just join this dance club for fun since it's only for a day.... So we paid our 1 pound and went for the class...

The lesson was held in the Dance Studio in the uni.. We reached there about 10 mins earlier.. We were looking for the studio as it was our first time there.. lol... Anyway, when we found the studio, we got a little shock coz it was all girls.... I tot we went to the wrong place.. So Ken Wayne went and ask one of the girls if that's the studio where the lesson will be held... SHe said yea and asked us to go in.. I was like.. Seriously.. We went in and after another 10 mins or so another guy came in.. Thank god.. I tot it's an all female lesson.. lol..

Well, the dance lesson was quite nice just that my body is too stiff to do most of the moves.. lol...and the instructor was really good.. I couldn't follow most of the moves that he taught.. lol.. Overall, it wasn't too bad..

Anyway, I'm kinda tired now.. Next up will be paintball this Saturday in Darlington.. woo hoo.. It's been a while.. will update next time.. till then.. cheers..

Germany trip

First of all before I start posting all the pictures taken in Germany I would like to wish my mom who celebrated her birthday last week, a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY...

Alrite.. after weeks of slacking, I finally edited some of the pictures which I took in Germany.. There's so many of them.. sigh.. anyway, I just took a few to post it up... I stayed in one of the youth hostel in Mannheim..The hostel was very clean and it has 3 double decker beds.. However, one thing which I didn't like about the place was the toilet.. The showers has got NO doors.. It was cold and I am not comfortable bathing with other naked guys.. lol.. Therefore, I only went to the showers in the middle of the night when everyone else is asleep...

The weather there is so freaking cold and even though all of us were wearing 4-5 layers of clothes, we could still feel the cold... And it was also snowing over there although its not much but then u could see the frozen spider web, one of the river in the castles.. we even broke one some of the ice by stepping on... lol..

During my stay in Germany, I've visited about 5 cities (Heidelberg,Karlsruhe, Schwetzingen, Stuttgart, Mannheim) in Germany and 1 in France which is Strasborg.. Strasborg is about 2 hours by train from the place I stay.. Went to Stuttgart where the Mercedes- Benz Museum is located.. the place is pretty cool with all the types of cars mercedes has produced... However, since it was Christmas season, there's so many Christmas markets around where they sell the famous German sausages, candies and also Gluhwein(some hot red wine) which keeps your body warm.. Din really like it..

Traveling around in Germany is so easy with the trains and trams available and its quite cheap if u travel in a group.... Other than the christmas markets, we also visited some castles, gardens(imagine walking in the garden where the temperature is negative degrees celcius), museums and also did some shopping.. For me,, I was eating most of the time with all the candied peanuts, German sausages, etc.. lol... In Strasborg, we went to this restaurant called SEGA FREDO, where I heard from Isaac that they have a branch back in Malaysia.. I never heard of it though.. Anyway, the food there was just ok.. not too bad...

And on the last day of the trip, we decided to try the famous pork knuckle.. The thing is huge and I din know how I managed to finish the whole thing.. lol.. it taste good and we had some beers to go with it.. Imagine taking beer at 12pm in the afternoon.. lol.. It was a very tiring trip where I had to wake up like 7 am everyday so that we could travel to other cities... However, all of us had fun for that 5 days... lol... Hwei Chuin's friend who is currently studying in Mannheim Uni, took us around to all the cities.. Have to thank her for that..

On the last day, we packed our stuff and leave for Frankfurt Hahn airport and waited there for almost 4 hours before we could hop onto the plane for our flight back to London... there was an hour delay.. sigh.. since we were all so bored and got nothing else better to do, we decided to play Big 2 while waiting.. lol..

Exams are finally over.. 2 freaking miserable hours in the exam hall... the paper was kinda shitty.... sigh.. praying hard that i can pass that paper... for the first time in my entire education life, I'm going into an exam hall with no past year papers to refer to, no clue on the marking scheme and the format... just go in with whatever shits that i've studied... it's boxing day... woo hoo... woke up damn early this morning just to go out for the sales on some of the stuff I wanted to get.. lol.. feeling damn sleepy now.. anyway, some of the stuff wasn't that cheap after all.. sigh.. managed to buy just a few items... 2 pairs of shoes, cufflinks, face lotion from body shop and a pair of gloves.. wanted to get another snow cap but then there isn't enough time.. lol... shopping shopping.. lol...
Christmas was nice where we invited some friends over for dinner... kok hong and gang couldn't make it coz the train does not operate on christmas day.. anyway, we roasted a turkey and no one in the house has any clue on how to cook that turkey.. but somehow due to our excellent cooking skills, we managed to roast it successfully.. lol...there were some other dishes such as mashed potatoes(we make our own mashed potatoes), french fries and some salad.. and also christmas dinner wouldn't be perfect without some alcohol.. lol.. we bought a bottle of whisky and some beer.. lol..

Christmas break is finally here.. muahahahah... after weeks of report writing and studying for tests ( although i slack a lot in between..lol..) the HOLIDAYS is finally here... LONDON and GERMANY here i come.. muahahhaa.. will be leaving to london next friday.. will be staying there for about 4 days and from there will travel to germany for another 5 days... will be back during christmas as well as boxing day shopping.. lol.. cant wait for it...

Have not been having much sleep lately due to the number of major reports which I have to hand up next Friday.. sigh.. one of it is 40% of my module marks and the other one is 20% of my module marks. sigh... and there's so many softwares to learn.. and i'm totally hopeless with computers..lol..and there's so many journals to read...i hate reading themm cant understand shits out of them.. sigh.. at the rate i'm going now with my un-cooperative supervisor, i think i won't be able to have a good nite sleep till next week after the date of submission.. sigh.. there will also be a test next week which will definitely kill me for this 2 weeks... that will be my final class test for the sem..

but on the bright side.. cant wait till this sem ends, will be going to London and Germany during the holidays.. woo hoo.. cant wait cant wait.. lol.. after days of waiting for confirmation for booking the air tickets as well as the bus tickets finally everything is settled... lol.. anyway, back to my reports.. till then.. take care..

Today seriously wtf la.. I woke up so damn early today.. went for class, sat there for 10 mins waiting for my lecturer like an idiot.. and someone came in and said," Class is postponed for today due to staff illness." and when i got back and check my mail, there is a mail stating that lecture's today is cancelled.. and when i looked at the time of when the email was sent, it was at bloody 8am.. who will go check their emails at 8am.. damn dulan..
Since i'm already awake, i might as well just update my blog a little.. Well, we had steamboat on saturday nite.. we bought this super spicy soup paste in the chinese mart... we bought some squid and some prawns.. it's been a while since i last ate those stuff.. but one thing i must say, the prawns here sucks.. i bought this packet from Morrison's and when i ate it, it taste like crap and have to chew damn long before i can actually swallow it.. sigh.. oh.. we also had beers to go with it.. lol.. it was wonderful to have steamboat in such a cold weather.. the min temp. that day was -2 degrees.. god.. so freaking cold..
Haven't been sleeping much lately, have been spending my time in the kitchen to do my so called "studying" there while we were busy searching for videos from youtube... lol..And i managed to find a suitable time to talk to my family back home.. now that i can save up on idd cards since the internet here have improved slightly and i managed to talk to my parents without much disruptions... lol..

For the first time in UK, the fridge at home is empty.. everything's gone.. the only food left is a few potatoes.. lol.. and since we were so lazy to go get our groceries we decided to buy our groceries... all thanks to ASDA..lol.. but then, we wont be able to get our stuff till monday,and all of us was so hungry we went out for dinner in a fine chinese restaurant..wanted to go for western food but then most of it closes quite early... sigh.. well, it was not as expensive as i tot.. we ordered this 3 roast meat rice, a portion of duck and spare ribs chow mein.. the duck was excellent.. i dunno whether it's becoz it;s been a while since i last ate duck or wat.. tat dish taste especially delicious.. lol.. the rest was not bad.. but then the char siew served over in UK is not tat good...

German Market.

Went to this german market yesterday in Millennium Square.. they sell all types of products from germany... they were selling this german sausages and burgers.. they are delicious.. they have this shop selling beers imported from germany.. wanted to drink but then it was too early to be drinking beer as it was only 3pm.. lol.. i tried the pork knuckle which is a famous dish in germany.. it;s huge.. luckily i was sharing it with my fren.. lol... there's this shop tat sells some products made out of honey.. damn nice..

after that, i went back to go for volleyball practice while waiting for Kok Hong and the gang from Bradford to arrive.. they bought 2 bottles of liquor from Morrisons' for our drinking session before heading to the club so that we get a little high as it's too expensive to try to get high in the club.. lol.. and also to keep us warm while walking to the club.. went to HALO.. it was so crowded... much better than the first time I went there... and the music wasn't too bad.. stayed there for about 3 hours till they closed.. headed back and chit chat with the gang till around 5am, coz their train doesn't leave till 5 am.. such a tiring nite and i couldn't get up for football this morning... sorry guys... lol.. anyway, it was a nice start to the weekend... managed to get rid of the books and have fun.. thanks to the guys from Bradford, Kok Hong, Kumaravel and Tarik (i'm not sure if that's u spell ur name.. sorry if i spelt it wrong).. well, tat's all for this time guys.. till then.. have a great weekend.. take care..

I miss HOME!!!!! man.. I've been in the UK for more than a month but I'm missing home rite now.. Uni life here is so damn different compared to Malaysia..it's so stressful.. i know it's UK.. but still.. sigh..back home i can just relax even though it's like a month b4 the exams.. i can study like a week b4 or something.. cant do tat here..
I miss my family.. my dad, my mom and my 2 bros... sigh.. and the internet connection here is so lousy.. i cant even talk much to my parents on skype.. haih.. and i tot the connection here is better than the one back home.. sigh.. It's been a very busy and stressful week.. so much of reading and so much of research to do.... the only time i get to relax myself was last Saturday when my frens from Bradford came over.. went out to town with them and bought myself some stuff from Top shop...lol.. after that, my life revolves around classes and books and sometimes some games..lol... i miss home cooked food and soup..
Anyway, just a little update on my life here.. Haven't been doing much lately other than spending my time in the library doing some research for my project as well as downloading movies.. yeah i can download movies in the library.. the connection there is much better than my hall of residence.. lol.. gonna have a test next week.. have to start studying for it.. well, there's just nothing special happen for the whole week other than the weather.. It's been hell of a week for me.. have to rush with assignments, research work for my individual project and i'm down with cough and sore throat...sigh.. since it's friday and i've got no classes on friday i've decided to update my blog... and where am i doin this?? In the LIBRARY.. the connection here is so much faster than the stupid St. Marks Residence... the line is totally hopeless...
Anyway, first of all I want to wish my bro, Kenneth a very Happy 20th Birthday... well, his birthday was last week on the 28th, din really have the time to blog about it.. sorry dude... and also the internet back in my room was fucked up.. hope u had a wonderful celebration on ur bday.. after all, u guys ate all those seafood without ME... sigh.. and u even posted it on your blog.. how could you!!! make me miss home even more.. lol.. anyway, all the best for your coming exams..

Supposed to be studying for Thursday's test.. but guess what i'm doing doing now... Blogging.. sigh... thanks to my incredible skills in slacking, I'm stuck with loads of work to do.. Group assignments, project research, revision for tests and etc etc.. sigh..and my supervisor for my individual project will not be around for the whole freaking week... just great... she just gave me my actual title last week and expect me to submit a summary of all the materials used to her by Wednesday through e-mail...sigh.. Hopefully i can finish it and the rest of the work before this weekend.. so that i can enjoy my weekend peacefully.. lol..
Anyway, went down to sheffield the other day with Kok Hong to visit his friend,Weng Tze who's also Peggie's friend.. She brought us around shopping with her another 2 friends.. she also brought us to the university... The university is so much bigger than Leeds' Uni.. for lunch, she brought us to this Chinese restaurant called Wong Ting for some dim sum and some other chinese dishes.. the price was quite reasonable about 5 pounds plus per person.. the food was not bad... took some pictures while walking around Sheffield.. Oh.. one of Weng Tze's friend was QQ's friend.. such a small world.. they all are somehow related.... lol.. aNd the freaking weather here is changing... so damn fucking cold... heard that the temperature is about 5 degrees or less at nite.. and it's gonna be worse during winter.. man.. and the bloody heater isn't working too well.. have to go complain soon after i'm done with all my stuff.. sigh.. anyway, better get back to my books soon before i start slacking more and increase my workload.. lol... take care ppl... cheers..

It's been a week i think since i last updated this blog.. lol.. sorry guys was busy with my projects as well as traveling to places and also settling all my fees...man the bank here is really slow.. i only gotten all my debit cards and pin numbers all this week and i applied for it like almost 3 weeks ago.. each time they will say there's the current postal strike or they will say tat this is for security purpose.. man.. it's horrible..
went to Liverpool last Friday to celebrate my aunt's birthday.. dun really know how old is she but then she invited me over for the dinner.. lol.. stayed there for 2 nights.. that place was quite nice.. my cousin sis was my tour guide.. bringing me around the city centre as well as bringing me for some games with some of Malaysian students studying in the University of Liverpool. We played Ultimate Frisbee which was quite a fun game.. tiring as well and for the first time i sweat tat much after almost 4 weeks in UK... oh and i also went to this spanish restaurant that serve tapas and paella.. delicious.. tapas is like small dishes of food something similiar to chinese dim sum... lol... overall the stay over in Liverpool was quite fun.. manage to meet up with my cousins whom i have not seen for a very long time... lol.. couldn't provide much pictures of Liverpool as i din really have the time to take pictures.. will take some when i go there again(hopefully).. lol..
And lastly, i got a new phone yesterday.. hohoho.. was damn happy with it..i took a 12 month contract and the phone i took was sony ericsson p1i.. its a PDA phone.. nice phone with all the cool functions.. lol.. still trying to get a hang of it though.. one thing about this phone which i love the most is the Wi-fi function..it has a 3.2 MP camera, music player and etc.. lol.. i can get connected to the net in class.. lol.. dun worry dad, i will concentrate in class.. lol... well, here's some pics of my previous trip to Manchester as well as some of my phone which i got it from the website.. to lazy to take the pics of the phone on my own.. lol.. till then, enjoy the pics and take care everyone... gonna learn with the functions of the phone.. lol..

Well today's my youngest brother's birthday.. god... He's 14 and he's taller than me.. what a giant he grew up to be.. lol... Anyway kid, hope u have a nice birthday and all the best.. Study hard.. Well, here's a little update of my life over in UK... not gonna post any pics though.. the line here is too lousy for me to do that.. lol.. went to Manchester the other day.. this trip was organized by MASSOC.. the Malaysian and Singapore society in Leeds.. The trip was nice.. get to tour around the city.. i tried this Spanish dish (forgotten the name) which was very delicious.. almost lost our way around the city as my friends and i were not familiar with the places... but somehow we manage to go around the city.. their chinatown is bigger than the one in Leeds.. they even have the arc which states Manchester Chinatown.. lol.. But then the nicest place that i went was the Old Trafford Stadium.. we get to tour around the stadium as well as the museum inside.. they had a mega store outside selling all Manchester United's official merchandise.. bought a few key chains.. 2 for my brothers back home as my second brother is a Man U. supporter.. hope you will like it.. lol.. that stadium is huge, we even went into the players dressing room, the press room as well as the tunnel where the players come out before every match.. And i got to sit on the recaro seats in the dugout where the manager and the substitute players sits during match time.. But unfortunately, we din get to meet any players there.. sigh.. but it was overall a very nice trip.. Anyway, will post the pics soon after i finish editing them.. It has been a rather busy week i must say... Firstly, i got my final project title "Bearings Tribocorrosion" which i have no idea on what it is about.. sigh.. and then the group assignments.. gosh.. there's like loads of them..they expect us to come out with lecture slides and provide it to our classmates.. Then on Wednesday, i was suppose to meet my supervisor at 3 regarding the project, and when i reached there she said the meeting was postponed to friday at 3 and her secretary did not even inform me about it... and yes, she has a secretary.. lol.. sigh.. have to start studying soon.. no more parties as there will be a class test in like another 2 weeks.. lol.. and yea, i played football the other and becoz of that i'm having body ache all over.. sigh.. anyway, kok hong's coming over to leeds later.. might head down to the city centre for a nite of fun.. lol.. till then.. cheers!! like wat the brits like to say after each sentence.. lol..

sorry guys that i couldn't update for the past few days.. it had been 3 tiring nites attending some of the parties around... lol.. this place is actually quite happening with ppl partying everynite from monday till sunday... god.. dun they ever sleep... lol.. and i've been drinking beer for the past 3 nites.. gonna get a beer belly real soon.. lol.. anyway just got back from HALO NIGHTCLUB.. well it wasnt that nice as we tot it would be.. the interiors are all very nice.. very vintage looking building.. lol.. And there's always a party available over at block A which is like 3 blocks away from my block.. lol.. ppl there are very nice and friendly.. lol.. I'm finally a student in Leeds. Obtained my student ID today after an hour queue.. and also made an appointment with the doctor over here regarding some injections.. lol..

haven really write anything bout my room over here in the UK. the room is quite big compared to the one i stayed over INTI last time.. There's like a book shelf, one cupboard, and lots of drawers.. lol.. haven been updating much about my life over here as there's lots of things i need settle before i can actually relax... lol..
Anyway, i notice one thing about the students over here is that they party everynite.. There's like party functions everyday.. they pass leaflet and posters everywhere around the uni... and their leaflets are very nice.. lol.. ONe more thing about the shops here is that they closes damn early.. they have so many pubs and clubs around.. Well here's an overview of my surrounding area...

went out almost the whole day today.. and my legs are killing me.. lol.. walked around city centre looking for a sweater which i found and it only cost me 5 pounds... damn cheap.. lol.. Hey Guys and girls.. I've already reach UK safe and sound.. Sorry to disappoint those who wish i was detained by the imegresen.(u know who u are).. lol.. Anyway, the whole trip all i can say is, it is FUCKING TIRING.. Firstly, when i went to check-in my luggage, i was told tat my flight was delayed by 3 hours.. I was like WTF.. 3 hours!!! wat am i gonna do for 3 hours.. but then there was my friends and family who accompanied me for the whole 3 freaking hours.. Thanks mom,dad and my 2 bros.. Love you guys.. And also not to forget my friends QQ,Suet Mei and esp Peggie who drove all the way to send me off.. love u... then it was time to bid farewell.. I did a quick
farewell, gave my parents and Peggie a hug and i went in.. too afraid tat i might shed some tears.. lol.. so i went in.. sat on the plane.. the plane is not very comfortable.. the legging space is so small. pity me who had to endure tat thing for 13 hours.. not only tat, i dun have a personal tv and the only tv provided is a tiny one in front.. sien.. but the food wasnt tat bad.. after that when we reached Amsterdam we received another bad news... the flight is delayed again for another few hours.. OMG.. but luckily we got complimetary 10 euros to spend in any restaurant of our choice.. We went to this sandwich island.. ordered a sandwich(of coz rite), a soup and guess wat, a cup of Heineken.. lol.. and the total is 10 euros. the beer is 3.30 euros.. lol.. after that we walked around the airport.. Amsterdam Schipol airport is fucking huge... It was so tiring.. walked the whole time with my laptop and handcarry.. after that we got into a smaller plane to get to Leeds Bradford airport.. After about an hour in the plane, we reached the airport.. then about 30 mins drive, we reached our hostels.. wat a relieve.. then we started shopping for our neccesities.. cooked spaghetti... some photos for ur enjoyment.. lol...

Hmm... Will be goin off to the UK tomoro at 11 pm.. Just finished packing.. I din know I have so many things that I wanted to bring over.. My parents was helping me out to sort out everything.. lol.. feeling very excited as well as sad since it will be my first time leaving home for such a long period of time and the place is so far away from home.. Anyway, just a little update on what I;ve been doin for the past 2 days.. Met up with Julia and Joanne for dinner on Monday.. Then went yum cha with Wei Jen,Kwok Tien and gang.. Yesterday, went out with Peggie for lunch.. That girl ar.. never ever give her the menu for she will just point out a dish from every page.. After that went to laundry for some drinks..

eye on malaysia

went to the eye on malaysia recently with Li Shian,Jokong, Ying Yi and her friends. well, there's nothing great about this ferris wheel. There isnt much scenery for anyone to look at except for the lights on the wheel itself. All you can see is the twin towers and also a big dark lake below. Before we went on the ferris wheel, there's this some sort of dinosaur show where all the plants are actually bloated up using some sort of gas and there's a few creatures coming out with sound effects. Then we proceed to the ferris wheel. We had to pay RM15 for about 5-6 rounds. After the first 2 rounds, we were beginning to get bored. Li Shian even ate cookies to cure her hungry-ness or should i say greedy-ness.. lol. After that went Rafi for some indo-mee. It's been a while since i went there. The indo-mee rocks. lol. drove all the way to Banting yesterday for beggar's chicken with some of my uni classmates. heard that it's a very famous restaurant and have appeared in newspaper a few times. the place and the food is not bad. well, it has to be since i drove almost an hour plus to reach that place after having me to drive through all the kampung areas. lol. when we first reached there, we saw a few mud skipper.

went to mardi gras yesterday with some of my uni mates and also my close friends Wei Jen, How Theng, Julia, Li Shian..Li Shian brought along some of her uni frens. Nice people and damn funny. Well everything was alrite till 1 am when the lights was switched on suddenly. This means that the club will be closed...We was like wtf, damn potong weh.. lol.. Din know where to go we went to hartamas to join Li Shian an gang for yam cha session which was later joined by some of Wei Jen's friends... Anyway to lazy to write so much..
